Saline OS Menu Icon HERE for criticism...
« Thread Started on Feb 2, 2011, 7:09pm »

My GF did this with _some_ combo of Gimp and Inkscape in Sabayon (Ok, ok I'm lying...Photoshop was heavily used...haha)....I'm using it as a menu icon. Please review this here and tell us how she can modify it if needed. Thanks!

edit: I'm going to ask here to move up the "line" to right of Beaker and the whole thing move a little to the right...what say you?

A modded icon will be posted.

That looks pretty good. Photoshop is a good program, though I'm not seeing anything that couldn't be done in Gimp. (besides the bottle, which was most likely done in Inkscape)

I'm using the MurrinaChrome theme. The menu icon is dark blue, then turns white when you hover over it.

How does this look?

Needs the "OS" at the end.

It looks great for a desktop or a t-shirt, but kind of big for an icon.

I'm just wondering if joutlan can put either Linux or OS at the end. But that may to much to ask of his GF.

Yes, I think so too. Needs the OS in SalineOS.
I like darker wallpaper, more contrast, easier on the old eyes. :)

It is an out of the ordinary view of the moon. I know, cause I googled it
and didn't find anything like this.

Yeah, I kind of like some color in the background of my Menu Icon. This Baby blue is 48x100 pixels.
