I installed SalineOS as a VirtualBox guest machine on Slackware. I cant get the resolution to be better than 800X600 which is irritating. Most geust OSs i have used dont have this issue, Thanks.

Didn't try it in vbox, but it's working fine on 1440x900.
What does xrandr indicate?

Have you installed the following packages from the repositories?
virtualbox-ose-guest-x11 virtualbox-guest-additions virtualbox-ose-guest-utils
If you haven't, try those. They better integrate the guest OS and the host OS, allowing things like higher resolutions. Some distros come with those already installed for people running the OS in VB but not all do. I've always found that installing them helps.

I'm not sure how Slackware installs virtualbox but the install should have came with guest additions. Usually selecting Devices>CD/DVD Devices will show virtualboxguestadditions.iso but for some reason version 4 stopped doing that. HOST D should do the samething.
I'm running SalineOS in VirtualBox 4.0 @ 1440x900.
