[Solved] Have You Seen This? « Thread Started on Feb 15, 2011, 6:15pm »
I wrote a PM to Anthony and have not heard back. Think everyone should be aware of this since it concerns our Repos. I found it on Linux Mint. http://www.debian.org/News/2011/20110215

Yes I have seen it. This does not effect your sources.list as I do not include the Debian Updates (formally volatile archive) I do have it setup in the testing version of the Personal Server Edition though (using the new setup).

I thought it said Squeeze, not testing which is Wheezy. In Linux Mint some of the people changed their repos to squeeze to get Stable and this was a call to them.

Look at it this way Anthony I won't be bugging you tonight after hitting the Debian forums. Beside that's good info you just provided. Now I can say I saw it over at salinelinux.proboards.

Its actually Debian Updates for pinning I think (Backports changed to "Debian Backports" for squeeze .. The repo on that site is for Squeeze yes, but there shouldn't be a need to use it for most people. I don't really like the changes to archive naming and labeling we are getting here. Though the name change from volatile is probably for the best.

Anthony is talking about the Server edition he is working on. My new power supply came today and my HoneyDue list is just about done so I'm hoping tomorrow or Saturday I can up-grade the old Dell and give Anthonys' Sever Edition a test run for real. [huge grin]

I'll take your word for it, let's mark this [Solved] then.
Edit: I'm running the Repo anyway and no upgrades yet.

The server edition is in a state of many rough edges, tread carefully my friend There is a reason I called it first development build and have it only posted on the forums.

I have many disks. And it can't be any worse than Ubuntu. Beside I'm retired now and she ain't writing another Honey Due list till spring. That's when the garden goes in.
