I think something from Cafe Press that has a large graphic for the SalineOS beaker logo maybe with a saline drip (intravenous injection) going into a smaller PC graphic.

Something about the KDE desktop screenshot and the Ubuntu logo don't sit quite right with me.... Just can't quite put my finger on it. Though they do look nice, carry on.

My Saline has KDE 4.5.3, but no Ubuntu anything on it or in it, well...I have to admit that I'm using Mozilla-Thunderbird version 2.0.0.24 from the Ubuntu repos, because I don't want to use version 3 yet, maybe when Wheezy goes stable I'll start using version 3. ::)

I love the Star Trek background, you got a link to that? I'm a big time Trekkie. 8-)

That's a sweet background. It would be better without the Ubuntu logo but it's still sweet.

Now back using the general SalineOS setup, except with launch panel on the left.
LibreOffice_3.3 turns out to be OK for many, but I'm staying with OOo321 until LO331.
Also back using the stock Debian Kernel.

So I thought I would post a screenshot of what SalineOS looks like running Xfce 4.8. Full 1080p image only: http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/8937/xfce48.png
Known issues so far are:
1. The menu first run will attempt to migrate the old panel settings to new. It does an OK job except the opacity settings (The top panel is completely invisible)
2. Missing the updated Xfce-Application finder
3. Missing the updated Xfce-Dict (Both of these just get purged atm)
4. Applications Menu will fail to load without human intervention
5. Most the panel plugins aren't available pre-compiled for 4.8 and require compiling by hand. (Requires a single SID library)
For now I have to continue to recommend that people wait until Xfce 4.8 makes it into backports where hopefully these little issues are resolved.
