Hi,
I need a software to crawl and download a site for me, to browse it offline. The materials on the site are not subjected to any copyright.
I need it to download js scripts also.
Do you know any such application? I think I saw one in synaptic, but just cant find it. Wget wont do the job (as someone sugested)...
Thanks!

Httrack. It's hit and miss depending on the server. Webreaper has not been updated in years though I've never used it.

I have used httrack on windows successfully but that was about 10 years ago. wget is also an option that I have used successfully on LInux. # wget --help for more info.
Just reading the web page at webreaper. It is at version 10 and has been in development for years. They state the following: "Known Bugs As of Version 10 I believe all major outstanding bugs have been fixed. If possible and relevant, please include the URL of the site you were trying to reap saved as a URL profile, so I can attempt to reproduce the problem." NOTE: First time I've ever seen anyone make this claim, in writing.
Thanks Brian for the tip. I'll make a note and give it a try.
