I am trying to download .386iso
from http://www.salineos.com/Downloads/SalineOS-1.0-i386.iso

but i am getting a text page that reads like this : 1997-2006 J.PEARSON/J.SCHILLING (C) 2006-2007 CDRKIT TEAM 2011011608502500ì2011011608502500ì0000000000000000

Hope this can be fixed, I also tried the other x64 bit download same thing
I am using Opera as browser, will try in another browser to see if improves.

Try right clicking on the download link and select "Save Link As". Otherwise try the torrent downloads, as there is something very wrong with your browser. I have verified that all download links are working correctly.

Fixed ! download commences OK in Firefox, which is not to say opera is not a good browser - which it is. I will be fistly trying Saline OS on a Pentium 2 with 512MB Ram, that currently runs Slitaz to see if printer recognition improves.

Will post back here with result in a day or two
Cheers

Zappa, yeah its was doing that because for some reason the browser was opening the file instead of downloading it... you were getting the same effect as if you had opened the file in a text editor.
