 Keyboard setup

I have successfully installed SalineOS 1.3 to my hard drive. But some how i forgot to change the keymap from US to UK. So would someone please tell me how i may change the keymap to UK please.

You can use the program the installer uses by running the command gksu localizesys . Assuming you use a qwerty layout it should automatically set the proper layout if you choose English-England, it will also offer to install the language packages for Myspell, OpenOffice.org and Icedove.

An alternative solution is to edit /etc/rc.local and add this line: setxkbmap gb
Then reboot or just run the command in your terminal :)

I did originally select the English-England option but i declined the other language packages. Anyway job done now and thanks for the rapid reply. Cheers!
