After stumbling around trying to get XBMC+HDHomerun+Saline to not work I was successful with XMBDBuntu ... my only problem is I don't like that distro.
So I've been installing all different linux packages and I keep returning to SailineOS .
I'll just struggle along until I make it work and I'll be happy

XBMC requires having the Debian multimedia repository enabled. Maybe someone else can help with HDHomerun since I have no idea what that is, but for to get XBMC run this line as root:
installrestrictedmultimedia && aptitude dist-upgrade && aptitude install xbmc
It is a good idea to use the proprietary graphics drivers for heavy multimedia use the user manual can help you install them if you havn't done so already.
