New to Saline, I must say I've very impressed with how responsive it is compared to say Xubuntu - but maybe that's just something you can expect from a Debian based distro. I've always read that LXDE is lighter so I hadn't looked at distros with XFCE much but I think on this machine (T2600) it may be as fast if not faster than LXDE distros I've tried. Wireless (RT3070) didn't work out of the box but I was able to find pretty simple instructions on blacklisting to make it work.

Anyway glad to be here, I'll definitely keep an eye on this one for sure.

Hi!

Greetings from Spain, I've been using SalineOS for a while and I'm very happy with it, works fine, no crashes, zero problems, and with a very simple but full interface.

I'll be around, so if anybody needs help in spanish please don't hesitate to ask me, my knowledges are limited but I'll do my best.

My gratitude to all members of the SalineOS team for their time and work. :)

Just wanted to say hello and send my kudos for a well thought out OS. I was using Solus but it seemed too piggy for my old P-IV machine. Saline runs perfectly and haven't had so much as a twitch out of it. [knock on wood] It is a little harder to get certain appz to run on it but I'm learning. Only been playin with Linux in general for a couple of years now so I guess I'm still a Newb. Again, great OS and am looking forward to great things from the new Saline.

;D

I am sorry, what am I missing? If they don't Spam in the Forum how can you tell they are spammers? Our Newest Threads show nothing of the kind. When someone complains I toss the posts out or ban them if they try it again. Just because they have a URL with a commercial name or you don't like the user name is no cause to PANIC!
