I've installed SalineOS to the Harddrive. So I guess that makes me an official user.
(You VirtualBox guys don't count) LOL

Looking good....crossing fingers for Xfce 4.8!

Welcome to the club. It's a good OS, I've had only a few problems since installation and they were easily ironed out. :)

Easy :P I've used Debian since 2004 with just apt-get dist-upgrade and just changing my /etc/sources.list from woody to sarge to etch and then Lenny. The only problems I had was with xorg and those where easy fixes. Squeeze was a fresh install to my brand new custom built computer.

I have my old computer up for the grandkids to use and when I upgraded it to squeeze it would freeze. I'm thinking it was xorg that caused the problem. SalineOS is based on Squeeze Sooo I downloaded the live CD version and am running that right now. I have all 4 desktops doing something. #3 is doing a slide show. I checked /var/log/xorg.0.log and that said the Intel video driver was being used so if it doesn't freeze in 3 or 4 hours I'll feel safe installing Saline i386 to it. Fingers crossed.
