 [Solved] E-mail Notification
« Thread Started on Feb 4, 2011, 9:18am »

I have searched the forum and don't see any way to get E-mail notification once a topic is put into the forum. If this is available any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bearded One,

No, I don't see it offered anywhere.
I just open the forum along with a dozen others in Chromium and look for the New button which takes me to the last unread post.

I've seen what you're looking for in other forums but it's not available as yet in ProBoards. I'll look around for somewhere to request/ask for to the ProBoard keeper.

[Edit: Here's the, what else, ProBoard Support Forum. :)
http://support.proboards.com/
Maybe if everybody interested in this feature join and respectfully requests it, they might put it on their ToDo list. ]

regards,
Richard.

Just in from Craig Suffolk of ProBoards:
"Hi :)

On ProBoards you have the [image] feature.

You can add a topic to your bookmarks by clicking on the button within the topic, or by selecting the tick box on the reply page.

You can view your list of bookmarked topics via the View Bookmarks option on your profile page [Profile >> view bookmarks].

By default, you will not receive notification of replies to your bookmarks, however, you can change this. You can opt to receive notification of replies by PM, email, or have no notification at all.

This option can be changed via the manage bookmarks link which is on the bookmarks page. You can also delete your bookmarks from this page.

Hope that helps :)"
